      Snaps together. I hung them in rows 4 units deep, still holding together 1wk later now filled with soil and plants. Comes with screws and S hooks for hanging, I chose to Zip tie them to deck railing. Good looking.

      I live in SW Arizona where the sun is hot and water scarce. I choose to invest in artificial plants to create my gardens. I have a 5’ metal rail fence surrounding my back yard where the bulk of my artificial plants and flowers reside. I’ve wanted to be able to use my fence for flowers to create vertical layers to my gardens. The LaLa vertical plant hangers allow me to do this.

      The planters come as a set of four. They can be used individually or snapped together in a two, three or four configuration. Each planter has two holes drilled, one on each side of the back, for mounting. The set comes with eight screws and two S hooks for mounting purposes. I would have liked the planters to come with eight S hooks as well. Because my fence is metal I will use the S hooks. I will place them as two sets of 2 planters so I need at least four S hooks.

      The planters are made of a dark green plastic that is more of an olive grey than green. The description is silent on whether they are UV resistant so I assume they are not. If left in continuous sun, as I have in Arizona, the plastic will become brittle after a season. As a result I’ll place these in areas that get morning sun and afternoon shade and periodically spray them with UV protectant.

      As I’ll be filling the planters with artificial flowers and plants the depth and drainage capabilities are not an issue. If I used live plants I’d be concerned with the 5” depth. Soil will quickly dry out and it will also heat up in the sun, potentially killing live plants. If I used live plants I’d be very cautious where I placed the planters.

      At the time I ordered the vertical planters the price was $17.99 or about $4.50 each. I think this is a reasonable price for the value received. The price per planter is reduced if purchasing sets of 8,16, 24 or 30 planters.

      Overall I really like the concept of the LaLa vertical planters. They allow me to add vertical elements in my backyard gardens. The major drawback for me is the lack of UV resistance so I need to be cognizant of where they are placed, and I’ll need to periodically use a UV spray, to maintain longevity. Other than that these are great to fill with artificial plants and flowers and hang on a fence. I would be very cautious, however, with placement if using live plants due to the shallow soil depth and heat transference.

      Well-designed and easy to install

      This is a nice 4-pack set of plastic vertical planters, and the design is well thought out. Each one has a mesh grid at the bottom for drainage, and the package includes screws, wall anchors, and S-hooks so you can mount them however you like. One heads up, though: the included screws started stripping out before they were fully seated, so you may want to swap them for something sturdier before you get too far into the installation. Once they are up, they look great and sit at an angle that makes stacking them easy and watering even easier.
      Each planter holds a good amount of soil, which opens up many options. Marigolds, nasturtiums, herbs like tarragon or chives, strawberries, anything with a shallow root system will do well here. However, they are not going to work for deep-rooted plants, so keep that in mind when you are planning what to grow. I mounted mine on the top and bottom braces of my privacy fence, and they fit perfectly. For the price and what you get in the pack, these are a great way to add some greenery to a fence, balcony, or patio without taking up any floor space. For my courtyard with limited space, these have quickly become a favorite.

      30, elongated planters

      These great little platters I want to put them on board and then I’m gonna hang that board up with the planters on it. That way if I want to move them it won’t leave a lot of holes behind where I hang them. There’s enough room for the roots to grow well I’m thinking there’s going to be one or two per planter. Make sure there’s room for the roof. I plan to add rocks at the bottom. Make sure that there’s some areas to drain and if it doesn’t drain well I will spot that as well and put in a small piece of wiring so don’t pull out at the bottom but overall, I think these are great and honestly, I have raised flower bed that I could put these on the side and use them from there they’re very versatile and the dark pill will help them retain their moisture and they’re not going to fall over easily. They’re very dirty very strong. Think I’m really pleased with these. Of course, best to stay right now but by the end of the season, I don’t know how well they were if there’s problems I’ll definitely be back to post about it, but I don’t want to be any problems right now. I’m pretty pleased with these.

      We just got these installed on our fence today! I love that you can choose to hang them with included hooks or mount with screws. All of four planters stuck together well although they were just a slight bit challenging to stick together. However, but also gave me confidence that they will likely stay stuck together over time.

      Far as the usability of the use, they even include holes at the bottom. This makes them incredibly practical and useful while still having a nice look to them. They weren’t overly heavy, which I appreciate, considering the fact that they are hanging on our fence.

      They’re the perfect size for medium sized plant or small strawberry bush. But because they’re simply hanging printers, the choice is really up to you on how you want to arrange plants in the planter. It’s also up to you on how many want to hook together if you decide to go the route of mounting them. Unfortunately, only comes with one set of hooks.

      These are really great. Very happy with them. Quality is nice, came with everything to mount them and was easy to do so. They look very nice hung, just waiting for the flowers to grow !
